I've been prepping for this trip for a bit now, and I'm trying to make sure that everything is ready. The perfectionist in me is definitely anxious about forgetting something and later kicking myself for it. The checklist is more for me, but its kind of cool to see all the nifty gear I got for this trip.
In roughly upper right corner to lower left:
-Lonely Planet: India
-1 pair light hiking/walking shoes
-1 pair flipflops
-2 pairs pants
-1 pair board shorts
-6 (+1 I will be wearing) underwear
-7 pairs of socks
-1 travel belt
-3 tshirts
-1 hardshell jacket
-1 long sleeve shirt
-1 zip hoodie
-48 caplets Immodium
-15 pairs contact lenses + case
-1 contact lens solution
-2 travel toothpastes
-water purification tablets
-100% DEET spray
-anti-malaria pills
-glasses
-1 hat
-travel liner
-netbook, AC adapter, mini-USB cord
-daypack
-55L backpack
Not shown, but also important:
-camera + charger
-passport
-microfiber towel
I hope all of this stuff fits. It would be heartbreaking after all this prep to not be able to fit it into my backpack. Add a comment if you feel I'm missing something!
DON'T FORGET THE LACTAID OR 48 IMMODIUM MAY NOT BE ENOUGH!
ReplyDeletehaha i forgot to list, but they are there!
ReplyDeleteHey if the stuff don't fit, get zip lock bags, sit on the clothes, and SEAL.. I estimate space savings of 50%. Worked a charm in the army, and waterproofs your stuff too
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS SO AWESOME....somehow so stuy i love it!!!! you're goin to have suchhhh a great time!! (but maybe buy a huge knife just in case) and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
ReplyDeleteim gonna venture a guess and assume you meant "Happy new year" since my birthday is in September.. hahaha
ReplyDeletehahaha, take care, man. it would be cool to read siddhartha by herman hesse or something by Gandhi or Mother Theresa while you are there. it would really put things in context, no?
